Congratulations to the 48 STEP teams representing 37 countries around the world for their superb efforts contributing over 1800 responses to the 2nd STEP (Successful Transgenerational Entrepreneurship Practices) Project for Family Enterprising global survey!
STEP scholars will take a deep dive into the global data set in the coming weeks to learn more about the impact of changing demographics on succession and governance in family business. With people living longer, the traditional methods of transition and governance in family businesses are no longer appropriate. This new research will look to explore and articulate how business families are dealing with these issues and what succession and governance models could look like in the modern era. For more details of countries that have contributed data, please check here.
We look forward to learning about the findings of this survey when STEP researchers publish their Global report later in 2019. Stay tuned!
