After months of exciting work and preparation, the hosts and organizers at University of Bergamo are pleased to share the final program of 2019 IFERA Conference (https://ifera.org/ifera-2019-conference/program-overview/), the largest academic conference on family firms, hosted next week (June 17th-21st) by the University of Bergamo

The IFERA Conference Program Chairs include Tommaso Minola and Mara Brumana (University of Bergamo, Italy), and Giovanna Campopiano (Lancaster University Management School, UK).

This year’s conference theme: Feeding the fire of entrepreneurship:
Theory and practice for the enterprising family

IFERA has announced three distinguished guest speakers as keynotes – Jay Barney, University of Utah (US); Howard Aldrich, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (US); Nadine Kammerlander, WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management (Germany).   In particular, on June 17th, Prof. Barney will coordinate a Professional Development Workshop (PDW) of the Academy of Management Review (https://journals.aom.org/journal/amr) of which he is editor in chief.

In addition, we are pleased to announce that this year, the STEP Project is co-sponsoring the welcome reception at IFERA 2019 and the Best Paper on Conference Theme. The STEP Project is thrilled to be a part of this exceptional international conference and look forward to seeing scholars from all disciplines enjoy a rich program and engage in the conversation of family business research.
