Learn Why the Case Method as a Learning Tool Helps Us Understand the Wicked Problems Facing Family Businesses

May 8, 2019

Case studies provide an opportunity to help learners better understand (and ultimately deal with) the difficulties, complexity, and inter-relatedness associated with “wicked” family business problems.

We invite you to join us at this Professional Development Workshop —initiated by the STEP Project— to discuss participants’ experiences with teaching cases and will present specific teaching strategies and cases employed in the family business field. By doing so, this workshop aims to start an important conversation about the relevance of family business cases leading to further collaboration amongst those who use them.

Join us as STEP members Ilse Matser (Windesheim Univ., Netherlands) and Frank Barbera (Adelaide Univ., Australia) lead this PDW Session IIB at FERC on May 31, 2019 @1-2:30 pm titled:  The Case Method as a Learning Tool to Understand the Wicked Problems Facing Family Businesses.
