The STEP community has been very busy these past few months. Our STEP survey (studying the Impact of changing demographics on succession and governance) has officially closed as of March 31, 2019. Congratulations to all STEP teams for their hard work and enormous efforts in contributing to over 1800 completed surveys in the STEP data set! This is a remarkable achievement from a group of exceptional scholars.
In addition, we are pleased to announce that STEP has recently launched Best Paper Awards and collaborative sponsorship initiatives at multiple international family business conferences. Many thanks to Andrea Calabro , STEP Global Academic Director and Ilse Matser , STEP Global Board Chair, for their exceptional efforts in the coordination and collaboration of these initiatives. One of the aims of the STEP Project is to develop researchers who are at the leading edge of family business entrepreneurship research. To reach this aim new talented people are very much welcome to the STEP community. With the STEP awards, we want to acknowledge, among others, talented young scholars and want to stimulate them to continue their work on transgenerational entrepreneurship.
